The one for me, November 3, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Nexride Pivoting Noseless Bicycle Saddle (Free U.S. Shipping) (Misc.) This is my second try at a noseless saddle, and after one day's use (13 miles) I'm pretty sure it's the one. I previously tried Ergo The Seat Ultimate Bicycle Saddle for a few weeks, but found it put me too far forward.
Like the Ergo, the Nexride also recommends a lower seat position, but unlike the Ergo, the Nexride is offset behind the seat post, making the riding geometry much closer to that of a traditional saddle.
The pivoting action is a little disconcerting at first, but I got used to it quickly. It allows you to sit farther back for better leg extension, and is easy to forget about once you get into your stride.
As far as I can tell, this is the only noseless saddle designed for a more athletic posture, as opposed to the more upright posture of a "comfort" bike. I ride a cross bike (26" wheels) on a... Read more

I bought this seat to avoid the genital numbing common in regular bike seats. It worked exactly as promised. The seat was comfortable. It pivoted with each pedal stroke. Unlike other reviews that I'd read, it wasn't hard to get things from the bike as I rode. The only downside is the hardware immediately in front of the bike seat. It's a bit uncomfortable if you aren't squarely on the seat. Bike shorts with padding easily avoid the problem.
I took a bad fall a few weeks ago. The seat snapped off the seat post on impact (hard impact) on the pavement. I contacted Nexride. They offered to either fix the seat or sell me a reconditioned seat. I sent the seat back and they reconditioned it good as new at no charge. The turnaround was an amazing couple of days.

Nexride Bike Seat, July 26, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Nexride Pivoting Noseless Bicycle Saddle (Free U.S. Shipping) (Misc.) My urologist suggested a hornless seat and Nexride seemed like a good idea. It didn't take more than a few rides to feel somewhat "comfortable". Was able to simply remove my old seat with an Allen key and install the new one in 5 minutes. The cloth velcroed material over the rods that are now exposed is not a perfect fit, but gets the job done o.k. Be careful to install the seat so that the rods are horizontal to the ground,otherwise you feel like you are sliding off the seat. I would have preferred a slightly larger seat, but do like the horizontal movement that allows the seat to follow your pedaling movements.
