Looks great!, June 25, 2010 By MPMK (United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Mantis Boys Lil Burmeister Bike (12-Inch Wheels) (Sports) We just bought this bike for our almost 4 year old son who has been riding a Strider balance bike (also bought on Amazon) for the past year. The Strider is a 10" wheel bike so we thought moving up to a 12" with pedals would be best for him rather than the BIG just to a 16". It came packaged securely and in perfect condition. My husband put it together last night (without the training wheels) in about 15 minutes and our son rode it for the first time this morning. It's light and easy to ride. So far it seems GREAT! The only thing it is lacking that I wish it has is a kickstand.

It came well packaged, easy to put a few bigger pieces together and our son who's 2.5yrs old was quickly off and riding. He rode a trike previously, took about 20 minutes before he had this one figured out. Bike is well built, attractive price and is working out great after a month and a half. I'd strongly recommend this bike, I'm not sure what else you'd need for a 2-3yr. old...?

Some issues, January 8, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Mantis Boys Lil Burmeister Bike (12-Inch Wheels) (Sports) The first one we recieved in the mail we had to send back because there was no threading in the pedal so you couldnt screw in the pedal. We sent it back for a replacement (which was a very easy and fast process)But the second one is not perfect either, the front wheel is not exactly straight.. not crooked enough to send it back for a second time though.
