 Mongoose R3004 Melee Bike Initial Reaction is Great (Amazon), Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Mongoose Boy's Melee Bicycle (Metallic Sand) (Sports) This is an intial review for the Mongoose Melee Boys bike (R3004).I ordered this and another bike for my twin girls (the other is R3754- Maxim I think). Both basically the same gear with 24' wheels. I will copy this review to use for the other bike because they are very similar. BTW- the Maxim tires are a little more fat byt the Melee seat looks a little more confortable. This review is written by MBGalf's husband! Shipping- Initially, the bike didnt arrive on time (it was lost or something). Amazon came through with some of the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE by reordering with 1 day shipping. Still came before the weekend so both girls had their bikes. Packaging- Excellent, the boxes corners all in tact, it was nice to see. Assembly- the back wheel was already attached so no messing with gears, the handle bars with all the gear connections was already setup, but only had to be slid into tube for assembly.
