Careful! I bought this product for its power, my ride starts in the city then onto my local trail and back into the city. If you want to see and be seen you just came across the right light. I would give this 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that one of the globes popped after using it twice but the dealer replaced it immediately so no problem and even then I would still have been able to do a off-road ride easily as the low beam is so frikking bright. Also the light and battery are not one piece so roadies think carefully. Cars and pedestrians see you coming from a mile. Looking back into the beam its like looking into a 747's beam of light...you blinded and cannot see what follows. Now on to the nitty gritty. The settings are great! 4 options wide angle, long beam or both combined and to top this they can be dimmed by holding down the terminator looking eye button which when fully charged looks just like the eye of the terminator as in the movie. Love this light! Great for Mountain Biking! As you might see by my other reviews, I'm an experienced mountain biker. I've used 5 or 6 different lights (NightRider,CygoLight,Light & Motion) and this trumped them all. Extraordinarily bright LED lasts for over 2.5 hours on full, 5-6 hours on half.
It's feature rich and let's you know what power level you're operating at with a colored light indicator on the remote. It also has an LCD readout of the battery life remaining on the LI-ION battery pack. The handle bar mounting kit does well to limit slip, but I recommend the $15 Helmet Mount Kit or just create your own.
This is the best light on the marketplace for the price and I HIGHLY recommend a purchase if you are looking for an extremely bright, durable, and well constructed light.
