Very easy to install, and my 18mo son LOVED it. On our first trip out, after three laps around the park I was tired, but my son really didn't want to get out of the seat so we kept going. He was so plainly enjoying himself that another parent flagged me down to ask where to get one. I'm 6'1 and had plenty of room to peddle without hitting my knees, and the bike was still very stable with a 25lb+ kid on the handlebars. Great product!!

We decided on this style of bike seat after researching both this style, the conventional seat on the back of the bike, and trailers. Our son likes to see what is going on, that influenced our decision. Another strong influence is that we can see him while riding. The seat is easy to install and is very sturdy. Daddy is an engineer, so there is no way this seat would have been used if he felt it was not up to snuff.
A little learning curve on the steering and holding your own body around the seat is needed. Daddy is almost 6 foot and stretches his arms to go around the seat and hold the handlebars. Shorter people may have an issue, but you have to try it to see if it works for you. No issues with balance noted.
So far we have been lucky and our son is more interested in what is going on around him rather that trying to fiddle with the brakes or cables.
Plenty of leg growth room.
A good product, would recommend.
