It shifts quickly throughout the entire range of gears but does seem more finicky to dial in than my old heavy mountain bike RD that I had on my CX bike. This is expected but once I do get it dialed in just right, this thing will perform beautifully.
honestly, the difference between Ultegra and DA series is nominal, and I can't justify the huge jump in price to go along with the minute weight shedding of the DA... Do yourself a favor and just go with Ultegra, that is unless you have deep pockets and enjoy the envious look of your competition as you pedal by with your overpriced components.
