I had a couple of different baskets on my bike for carryng my winnie dog on long baike rides but they were never quite right, This one is perfect. It has a nice size flat bottom that is perfect for putting a dog pad in and the sides are just high enough to give Max a good view without danger of him falling out. The best engineering part is the way it attaches to the frame. Much more stable than handle bar mounts. When I turn the handle bar the basket stays straight and level. Much less chance of making a sudden turn and throwing Max out.
Gtreat product. I did give the bottom a coat of polystain to protect it from weather. The bottom piece came unfinished.

This is perfect for my two dogs each weighing 7lbs. It's large enough for them both to fit comfortably and is very sturdy. I also bought the cover so that they won't try to jump out. It was relatively easy to attach this to my bike and I can remove the basket when not in use. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to take furry pals along on the ride!
